Isles of the Clyde and the Southern Hebrides - Glen Etive

Phil Shorthouse

What can I say, this is my second cruise in Glen Etive. Once again from the moment of joining the crew was brilliant. Welcomed by Captain Dave, he navigated safely at all-times especially when Storm Babet started to 'stir things up'. Eddie the Chef provided food par-excellent. His Scotch broth was to die for. Being a lover of fish and cheese I was in heaven. Graham the Engineer worked closely alongside Dave, and in all weathers ensured we were safe especially where the anchor was concerned. Celeste was amazing. Ensuring we enjoyed ourselves, she took pride in laying the table, especially for dinner. Also a whizz at making cocktails. Nothing was to much trouble. The fellow passengers were the icing on the cake. I have booked again for Loch Ness and the Caledonia canal next September in Glen Tarsan but want to try and sail Glen Etive next April/May. Such a great cruise.
