The west coast of Scotland is a stunning area for cruising and each season brings its own highlights. In spring crisp clear days with fresh foliage on the trees and in autumn the stunning reds, oranges and yellows of the trees set against the purple and greens of the hills. The scenery truly is awe-inspiring and sitting at anchor looking ashore, wildlife can often be spotted; deer, otters, herons, sea eagles, wild goats. In spring and autumn the shorter days allow you to make the most of spectacular sunrises and sunsets, marvel at the incredible blanket of stars that the 'dark skies' around the west coast of Scotland display to advantage and if you are very lucky the Aurora Borealis may put on a show into the night.
Depending on the wind, weather and tides your Skipper will take you to a different anchorage each day, cruising round the magnificent coastlines of Argyll, Lochaber, Morvern and Mull. Scotland's larder comes into its own in autumn and your onboard chef will delight you with delicious meals prepared onboard from locally sourced seasonal produce; lamb, venison and beef from the hills of Argyll, fish and shellfish from the waters off the west coast.
