The Majestic Line Crews
A major reason for the success of The Majestic Line is our Crews; we have four Crews, each with four Crew members, to serve our three vessels, the Glen Tarsan, the Glen Massan and the Glen Etive. Each crew comprises of the Skipper, the Boat Engineer, the Chef and the Bosun who will ensure that every aspect of the time our guests spend on board is perfect.
Our four Skippers are very experienced and highly qualified to run our vessels and support their Crew. They know the best anchorages, history and natural environment of the cruising areas to ensure guests enjoy the best that Argyll and the Hebrides can offer. Our Skippers for the 2017 season have all worked with us before and we are delighted to have Martin McWhirr (Glen Massan) Neil White (Glen Tarsan) Robert Christie (Glen Massan and Glen Tarsan) and Ian Woollcott (Glen Etive) all back on board for the new season. We are also very pleased to have Paul Bew as Relief Skipper. All our Skippers completed WiSe accreditation in April 2017 which ensures that our cruises have no negative impact on the rare marine wildlife that we encounter.
Each Crew member has an important role in ensuring that each of our guests has an unforgettable holiday. The personal service and skills of our Crews are exceptional in anticipating the needs of guests while onboard. A favourite spot for many of our guests is to join the skipper in the wheelhouse as they cruise to a new destination, which is one of the delights of small boat cruising.
