A Taste of the Hebrides - Glen Etive

Having cruised on bigger ships there was a little trepidation about sailing on a small boat. What a mistake because the whole experience was beyond belief. Boarding in Oban set the scene with otters playing and eating in the harbour. On boarding we were greeted by smiling faces and a very happy crew. Who never lost those smiles throughout the cruise. Our fellow travellers were also relaxed and ready to enjoy the trip. After unpacking we gathered in the lounge for pre dinner drinks and a welcome. Eddie the chef served a majestic meal which was devoured by all. He maintained this level of culinary expertise throughout the trip thus ensuring we departed heavier than when we boarded. The other crew Rachel our steward, Arian the engineer and of course the skipper Chris, were just as special and made the experience one not to be forgotten. On departing we were sorry to leave and are currently planning another cruise.
