Private Charter 3 Nights - Glen Etive

What a wonderful experience! We have just returned from a three-day cruise on Glen Etive - a family group of seven adults and four under elevens. The entire crew were superb in making sure we lacked for nothing. The children immediately adopted Jeanne (steward) as a big sister and they adored her. Chef Eddie delighted us all with wonderful food and was especially brilliant in satisfying the (sometimes quirky) requirements of the youngsters. We were blessed with wonderful calm, sunny weather and Skipper Chris took full advantage, choosing superb anchorages and packing in more than we imagined possible in the time. He anchored off the Treshnish Isles and Kai put us ashore from the tender to climb up to the Puffin colony. As a real highlight, Chris demonstrated his marine expertise again with a visit to Staffa and Fingals Cave where Kai reversed the tender into the cave itself for a unique view of the amazing geology and swarms of colourful jellyfish. In between, while making passage and enjoying tasty cake or canapes from Eddie, we twice encountered large pods of dolphins and we can still hear the squeals of delight from children (and adults!) as Chris gently conned Glen Etive to make the most of each encounter as the dolphins came to inspect and play with us. Our trip could not have gone better. You have to be aboard to understand how special this experience is. We look forward to joining Glen Etive again in October.
