Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal - Glen Massan

We have just returned from our Caledonian Canal cruise on the Glen Massan with Martin, Dave, Steve and Deborah. I just want to put on record that our trip exceeded all our expectations on all fronts. Our accommodation was cosy and comfortable, and the shower room was fit for purpose, with plenty of hot water when required. All of the meals were of an extremely high standard, both in terms of menus and presentation. We were fascinated by Deborah's arrangements for the napkins, a different theme for each evening. Every meal, through breakfast, lunch and evening meal, was a culinary delight. It was great to see how the entire crew, from Captain Martin to Deborah, worked together to make our holiday such a success. We were fortunate with our weather, we had only the briefest of rain showers, and the scenery was awe-inspiring and humbling. We were also very fortunate the the eleven passengers gelled together from day one, which also contributed significantly to our enjoyment of the trip. Our shore excursions were handled with great care and professionalism. All in all, Libby and I had one of the most enjoyable holidays of our life together, and we will have no hesitation in recommending the Majestic Line to our friends for a great nautical experience.
