To reach Skye, the itinerary takes in the coast of Ardnamurchan and the "Small Isles" of Rum, Eigg, Canna and Muck; the close location of these islands, each uniquely different from the other, is an island-hopping delight. On the Scottish west coast, with views of the Isles of Skye and Raasay ever present, there is a choice of fjord-like sea lochs to explore including Loch Carron, Loch Nevis, Loch Hourn and Loch Torridon.
